N.B. Post-GCSE courses will almost certainly require knowledge and understanding of a wider variety of reactions than the limited number of styles posted above.
CIE iGCSE Chemistry (0620), for example, includes precipitation reactions of dilute, aqueous ammonia with metal salts solutions and observations of the precipitates with excess reagent.
'A' level specifictions cover the details of any complex ions involved where precipitates react and the products dissolve in excess alkali.
